Chiropractor vs MD Education
Many people do not realize chiropractors spend more hours learning their skills than medical doctors. Chiropractors must attend a university to obtain a four year bachelors degree then apply to a chiropractic college for an additional four year degree. Then they must pass state and national exams in order to be granted the title Doctor of Chiropractic. The table below shows a comparison of what chiropractors study and what medical doctors study and the total amount of hours each doctor is in classes.
